Delete Account — Verdict

Verdict users can request deletion of their account and associated data from inside the app (Settings → Account Management) or through this page. We process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal, safety, fraud-prevention, and abuse-prevention obligations.

How to Request Deletion

In the app: Settings → Account Management → Delete account (signed-in request) or Delete specific data (partial deletion without closing your account).

On the web: use the form above or email support@verdict.modelabs.studio from the phone number or email linked to your account.

Web and email requests are unverified until we confirm account ownership. Signed-in app requests are tied to your current account.

Submitting a request does not delete your account instantly. We verify and process requests, typically within 30 days.

Delete Specific Data Without Deleting Your Account

You can request deletion of profile photos, proof submissions, support messages, or other account data without deleting your whole account.

In the app: Settings → Account Management → Delete specific data.

On the web: choose "Delete specific data only" in the form above.

What We Delete

After verification, we delete or anonymise, as applicable:

— Account credentials (phone number / email used to sign in)

— Profile information (display name, username, profile photo)

— Proof submissions and uploaded photos

— Mission history, streaks, and archive data tied to your account

— Push notification tokens

— Squad memberships and other account-linked social data

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone once processing is complete.

What We May Retain

We may keep limited information after deletion when necessary for:

— Safety and abuse prevention (for example, records needed to enforce bans and prevent repeat abuse)

— Legal compliance, disputes, or lawful requests

— Aggregated or anonymised data that no longer identifies you

— Backup systems — copies in backups may take up to 90 days to clear

Content on The Wall

Your proof photos on The Wall are removed as part of deletion.

In some cases, references to your username in others' activity may be replaced with a generic label rather than deleted everywhere immediately.

Processing Time

Verified deletion requests: typically within 30 days.

Backup purge: up to 90 days in some systems.
